Letters from travelers

Dear KYITAR & THEINT,

Hello, BURMA is only a memory for us, but we will always remember the magical place names, RANGOON, LAKE INLE, and BAGAN.

Guides we will not forget, AUNG, SAI, HARRY, and the LAKE star INLE “YEN” that we left with regret.

Thanks to you and your RANGOON team. You form an effective team and are super professional.

If tomorrow you pass by TOULOUSE, we would be delighted to welcome you to our home.

Once again, “A THOUSAND THANKS”

Cordially,

Jacques and Brigitte GARCIA (2017)

Hello,

The time has passed since we returned from Myanmar, but we really wanted to congratulate you for the perfect organization of our stay. The selection of hotels, quality guides, “timing” without a hitch for domestic travel, combined car, train, boat, and plane all came together seamlessly. There were no failures – everything was really good. We loved your country and we will surely come back. After some random reading online, we saw that there were other less-known sites that could also be visited. We’ll talk about it. Of all that we saw, our preference goes to Inle Lake!

Cordially,

Gérard and Ulrike Browne (2017)

Hello Theint and Kyithar,

We are back in France with wonderful memories.

We owe it mainly to your organization that was without flaws and the high quality in the choice of hotels, the balance of visits, transfers by plane, respect for the agreed-upon program and the professionalism of our French guide Kyaw Kyaw, (pronounced “cho cho”), with whom we exchanged a lot, and all the different drivers.

We were in our third country in Southeast Asia, and these 13 days spent in Myanmar exemplified the spirit of Buddhism. We marveled at the cultural and human wealth and the contrasts of landscape and temperature. We will always remember the kindness of the people and the frequent desire to communicate with a smile or the touch of a hand. The water festival in Mandalay was a highlight. A big thank-you to you all for this unforgettable stay, which, alas, passed too quickly!

Dear Adorable Myanmar,

My husband and I thought it important to send you these lines to wholeheartedly thank you for the wonderful trip you organized in your beautiful country. The program, the choice of wonderful hotels at each step, the various means of transport, the drivers and other adorable things that inevitably awaited us in each city, the attractions offered, and your care and attention to detail were all much appreciated. Thank you for everything that was done for us that allowed us to experience enchanting Burma, make the stay enjoyable, and make us love and appreciate the wonders found in your beautiful country.

We were overwhelmed by your wonderful country and the kindness and smiles of its people. We loved your fascinating country so much that we wish to return as soon as possible.

Thanks again. We hope to see you very soon.

Hello,

We arrived home last night.

We want to thank you again for the wonderful trip we took, thanks to you. Everything was absolutely perfect. Welcome, guides, vehicles, drivers, sites visited, hotels, treks and village tours, and a special note for the night spent with the locals in this mountain village! We adored everything!

However, it is especially your country and the Burmese people that we have enjoyed! It makes us think a lot about our Western society.

We are already talking about “Adorable Myanmar” to all our friends!

Thank you for everything. See you soon!

Send our good memories and our thanks to our guides and drivers.

Hello,

We are back in France and we want to thank you again for the quality of your services. We saw many things, including pagodas, temples, and stupas, but also markets, artisans, and landscapes. We walked, biked, and traveled by truck, bus, train, boat, plane, and car with excellent drivers (especially in Yangon and Mandalay).

In short, we were delighted with this trip – in large part thanks to you, your professionalism, and your kindness.

We only have to look at the thousands of photos we took that will bring back good memories.

Keep up the good work!

Cordially,

Pierre and Laura MAILLOL (2017)

Hello,

Here we are back in Paris for a few days with the cold, and we even had a little snow. Funny contrast with Rangoon, but you have to go with the flow.

I personally wanted to thank you again for your kind welcome and your delicate attention to our gift that is lovely and has found its place in our home. We really had a wonderful time in your beautiful country and I can tell you I will not hesitate to advertise for people to go discover this beautiful place.

You have helped us make this trip a magical memory, so thank you again. Enjoy the rest of the year. I wish you and your agency all the success you deserve.

Best regards,

Nicole

Hello,

That’s it, I went back to France! After a few good nights to recover, I am taking the time to write to you to say a huge THANK YOU. I dreamed of coming to Burma for a very long time. Finally, I did it! This trip was fabulous. I will remember for a long time those women, men, and children I took pictures of in the umbrella factory, in villages during the Trek, and in Inle. I will also remember all the fruits and vegetables you grow! Turmeric, onions, Chinese cabbage, cauliflower, red pepper, gladys, chrysanthemums, pears, mandarins, oranges, celery, coriander, ginger, sweet pepper, figs, strawberries, etc. I also have fond memories of the floating gardens of Inle Lake, the trekking route around Kalaw, and the road between Mandalay and Bagan. I will remember the markets of Nyang U, or Pindaya, which were so rich in colors, smells, and flavors! I will remember and meditate upon the magnificent temples of Bagan, which spread as far as the eye can see. Moreover, I will remember those smiles, the laughs, the kindnesses, the conversations, and the open-minded people who are happy to meet, look, and share. Adorable Myanmar, it’s been a joy from the beginning to the end: from the first contact, the first program, the changes, the special requests … until the meeting in Yangon and the last guide, the last trip. I would like to be part of Myanmar, give to your country, to Adorable Myanmar. So, I’ll come back, this time to southern Myanmar, in the Mon and Karen states! I want to see you again! See you soon, good luck, and a big thank you for this great trip!
