We are returning from a stay in Myanmar from 18.02 to 5.03.2018. We are absolutely delighted to have chosen “Adorable Myanmar” as a local agency.
The organization was perfect, both at the level of the circuit we requested and at the level of services (the hotels were of very good quality).
We were warmly welcomed on the spot by Khyitar and Theint, who are very competent in their field and who have a perfect command of French.
Our guide, Kyaw Kyaw, helped us discover this wonderful country. He gave us a great deal of kindness and attention and provided us with some pleasant surprises during our journey (such as the novitiate feast and sharing part of the daily routine with nuns in a monastery). It touched us a lot.
We wanted to experience the local cuisine, and Kyaw Kyaw advised us very well. He found us traditional restaurants where we always ate well at a very moderate price.
The drivers and the boat pilot at Inle Lake were also very kind, caring, and cautious. The vehicles and boat were very well maintained.
We were fortunate to be there at the time of the Burmese pilgrimages and this allowed us to bathe in an atmosphere of great Buddhist fervor.
We always felt safe. Everything in this country is peaceful, even in places of great animation. The Burmese are adorable and stay Zen!
This country is one of our favorites, and we already want to go back!

The trek around Kalaw was extraordinary, thanks to our guide. The course was well-chosen. We saw beautiful scenery and met nice people. A big thanks also goes to the guide who sang us a few pieces of music accompanied by his guitar.
We enjoyed the hike around Minethauk and the small village of Pa O, and especially the host family who touched us with their kindness.

It is now a little more than a month since we arrived in Myanmar. What wonderful memories we have taken home as souvenirs!
We would like to thank you for the attention paid to the details of our trip and to the spot-on follow-up. We are delighted with the way our trip unfolded. We took the circuit from Mandalay to Kalaw, Lake Inle, Bagan, and back to Mandalay and there was no false note, it was perfect!
The drivers were all very friendly, the recommended restaurants served delicious food, the country was sublime and Rome, our guide during our trek to Kalaw, was especially great! We were able to discover a country with a great culture.

Oh, yes! We know about Burma (Myanmar) from the information that Mrs. Aung San Suu Kyi provided in the world media a few years ago. So, why not give it a try? Myanmar is a country that is opening up but suffering from a weak infrastructure. Myanmar’s scarcity of good roads and hotels keeps it from attracting crowds of continental tourists like Thailand, its neighboring country. What if we went? Myanmar, in fact, means “fast and strong” as was the Burmese ethnic group that invaded and created the country at the beginning of the millennium.
Therefore, Dede searched the Internet to find tour operators’ sites on the various forums. This is how he found Adorable Myanmar, owned by two young women who are very involved in their profession. What a great nose he had for sniffing out the best travel agency in Burma Myanmar!
These two sisters are very professional and friendly, and they have concocted the perfect vacation plan to learn about their country and its culture. It is true that there is Buddha, Buddha, Buddha, and pagodas, pagodas, pagodas, but this tells us about what is important in the history and culture of the country.
They assigned us Sue-Zane to be our guide. She accompanied us during our three-week vacation, and we were not disappointed. Sue-Zane is a cultured young French-speaking woman who we found to be very sympathetic and empathetic. Steeped in the Buddhist culture of her country, she made us tremendously interested in learning about Myanmar. We can honestly say that Sue-Zane and Adorable Myanmar are the best, and they introduced us to the best of their country.
The country formerly known as Burma remains very poor, and it needs the tourist economy to help it develop. We were happy to contribute to it.
Besides the mystical site of the Golden Rock, important to see for the curiosity of its site and its surroundings, the area of Lake Inle has greatly pleased us by the majesty and the Zen of its ambiance, the real floating gardens and the villages on stilts. Mandalay and the surrounding area, authentic artisans, the longest teak bridge in the world, the Phowin Caves, the Bagan site, countless “Magical” pagodas, and romantic sunsets.
We ended our journey by basking in the Andaman Sea, in the Bay of Bengal, in the west of the country (yes, because in the east there is no sea). Besides our muscular legs and minibus, we used every other means of transportation such as public taxis, a carriage, a canoe, a boat, an electric scooter, a train and an airplane.
To conclude, we enjoyed a permanently blue sky without the hint of a single cloud and ideal temperatures during our three-weeks winter vacation (January-February). Without hesitation, choose adorable Myanmar and you… will adore.
